As you may know, we invested in the Square 1 building a year ago (June of 2011) to serve as a business venture for us when we retire from our day jobs at Texas State University as faculty. During the Reds Festival and weekends of First Fridays (every month), Jill and I will be opening the doors of the Square 1 Art Studio to art shows with local artist’s original works of art. Jill is an accomplished artist from Texas who is also works at Texas State University as a Senior Lecturer. Her works are currently in galleries in Santa Fe, New York, Austin, Dallas and Johnson City.

Our Art Shows are always open to the public and we serve hospitality wine and snacks during our shows. During the First Friday in August, we had over 150 visitors to the Square 1 Building. |
